 This
is a sweet, heavier bodied Riesling wine that is also highly aromatic
and has a floral bouquet with the flavor of peaches, melons and pears.
A white variety associated with the Rhine Valley in Germany and other cool regions in Europe. It is successfully grown in the Americas, producing a very floral and fruity wine, often finished with high acid, low alcohol and some residual sugar. If infected with the appropriate amount of botrytis, it can produce outstanding late harvest wines.
